I got a blog, now what???

I have literally written hundreds of blog posts...in my head.  This is the first time that I am actually putting anything out there for anyone to see.  I'm not really sure why I've never done this before because a part of me has always wanted to be a "writer".  I think I'm concerned that I won't be entertaining enough.

So, just a little background about me to start, I guess.  I am a married mom of 4 awesomely fantastic kids that I will probably brag on way too much (but I also will share some of their hilarious antics, so if you read it, you'll just have to deal.)  I met my husband about 19 yrs ago and we've been married for 18 yrs next month.  I love his guts and often refer to him as my hunka hunka.

I love to bake.  Specifically, cookies, but lately I've started veering into breads.  I'm still getting the hang of yeast, though, so that doesn't always work out.  I would love to start a cookie shop in town here, but I'm terrified of failure and putting myself out there.  Plus, with 4 kids, I don't know that it's fiscally responsible to start a business when we have 3 off to college in the next 6 yrs.  I am hoping that if it's meant to be, God will put it on my heart and on someone else's to help with the financial burden.  I guess time will tell.


Enough about me for now, next time I will be sure to include some photos of yummy things I've been baking.  And maybe even a recipe or 2.
